In this session, we’ll do a stillness meditation to allow contemplation or settling of the nervous system. In my last stillness session we read the seventh and final spiritual law of success by Deepak Chopra before our session to inspire contemplation. In this session we’ll begin reading a new piece to inspire our contemplation. Metaphysical Meditations by Paramahansa Yogananda. These session is slightly guided. I am trying to gather as much insight that bubbles up in these sessions. Afterwards, there will be time to reflect and maybe even journal out what’s come up. I hope you’ll join me!
A creative take on journaling, junk journaling involves using texture & colors to express ourselves… things like stickers, textured paper often used in scrapbooking, stamps, colorful pens, and colors, etc. Junk journalling allows you to express what’s within externally and in an artistic way. The moon cycles, such as the full moon and the new moon, tend to bring out lots of emotional energy within us and is often a nice time to journal out our thoughts and emotions anyway. You’re encouraged to bring the items you want to use to express yourself this full moon, whether it be stickers, magazine cut-outs, real flower petals, colors, and paints… however you feel like letting the creative within you journal is completely fine. The start time for this session is 6:30pm CST every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
